Sign In Help

To buy tickets to the event, make other credit card transactions online, participate in our online auction, or build your personal wish list on the new Auction Catalog Site, you will be asked to sign in to your account. The account sign-up process can be a little confusing – here’s how to do it:

1. When you see the “Please Sign In” form, enter your last name and password (if you already have an account).

2. If you do not yet have an account, or are not sure if you do: click on the “Find Existing Record” button. If you have donated, sponsored or attended a previous auction, or if you are a member of the Crocker Highlands Elementary School community, your name may already be in our database. By completing the “Find Existing Record” form, we will locate your existing record if it is in our system.

3. If a record is not found for you in our system, you will be taken to the New Registration page, where you can enter your contact information, choose a password, and create an account.

4. To get back to the Auction Catalog Site, click on the link in the left sidebar, or click here.

Problems creating an account? E-mail the auction committee at auction@crockerschool.org.

How to buy tickets to the auction event

To buy tickets to the auction (“Register for Event”):

  1. Go to the Auction Catalog Site and click on “Buy Tickets to the event here.”
  2. If you have not signed in to your account, you will be prompted to sign in. If you do not have an account you will be prompted to create one (see Sign In Help above).
  3. Once signed in you will be taken to the “Register for Event” page.
  4. Select the ticket type from the Ticket: drop-down list (there may be only one option).
  5. Check the boxes for you and and your spouse (or one of the boxes if the other is not attending).
  6. Select the “Number of Attending” – 2 if you and your spouse, 1 if only one of you, up to 6 if there are additional people attending who will be using your bidder number.
  7. Complete the credit card transaction.
  8. If you check the “Use this card for all event purchases” box when making a purchase you will be automatically checked into the auction – no waiting in line!

Problems?

  1. “Event Registration” is synonymous with “Buying Tickets” The new software uses the “Event Registration” term. We’ve continued to use the “Buy Tickets” term for our links to the “Event Registration” pages on the new website.
  2. You only get one chance to register for the event. If you register both your spouse and yourself you should not have any problems. If you register yourself, and then want to go back and register your spouse, or if you want to register additional people who will be using your bidder number – you will not be able to do this by yourself online. If you find yourself in this situation please contact the auction committee and one of us will complete the registration for you.
  3. E-mail the auction committee at: auction@crockerschool.org

Fast Pass: How to check in for the event (qCheck)

Avoid the check-in line the night of the Live/Silent auction event by checking in online. Click qCheck above to open your profile. If you have a credit card associated with your profile, check the box “Use this credit card for all event purchases” then click on “Submit Credit Card”. You will receive an email confirmation for $0.00 confirming you are checked-in. The night of the auction, bypass the line and just pick up your name tag.

How to buy other items (Blimp or Golden Tickets)

To purchase Blimp and Golden tickets:

  1. Go to the Auction Catalog Site and click on “Buy Blimp and Goldent tickets on the Merchandise page.”
  2. If you have not signed in to your account, you will be prompted to sign in. If you do not have an account you will be prompted to create one (see Sign In Help).
  3. Once signed in you will be taken to the “Purchase Merchandise” page.
  4. Select the type of merchandise from the Merchandise: drop-down list (either the Blimp-$2 each, Blimp-sheet of 6 for $10, or Golden tickets).
  5. Select the “Quantity” you wish to purchase.
  6. Complete the credit card transaction.
  7. If you check the “Use this card for all event purchases” box when making a purchase you will be automatically checked into the auction – no waiting in line!

Problems?

  1. Unfortunately there is no “shopping cart” capability with our online software, so each purchase is a separate credit card transaction. If you are registering for the event, buying Blimp tickets and buying Golden tickets, this will require three separate credit card transactions. You only have to enter your credit card information once, so subsequent purchases are easy.
  2. E-mail the auction committee at: auction@crockerschool.org.

Website Information

Last year was the first time we provided online viewing of the auction catalog.  This year, we will have our first on-line bidding of selected items from our catalog! This will happen the week leading up to the auction, Feb. 27 through March 4. Stay tuned for more details on that.

For those of you who have visited the Crocker Auction website in the past, or have bought tickets or other items online before – things are a bit different this year. Here’s a brief explanation:

  • Please note that the new auction catalog site requires you to create an account, but the good news is that you only have to do it once. You’ll have full access to the site after your account is created.
  • When you visit the site and navigate to a payment page (Buy Tickets / Event Registration, or Merchandise) or a members-only page (Wish List) you will be asked to sign in to your account.
  • If you check the “Use this card for all event purchases” box when making a purchase you will be automatically checked into the auction – no waiting in line!
  • Unfortunately there is no “shopping cart” capability with our online software, so each purchase is a separate credit card transaction. If you are registering for the event, buying Fenton’s tickets and buying Wine Drop tickets, this will require three separate credit card transactions. You only have to enter your credit card information once, so subsequent purchases are easy.
  • There are actually two different auction websites this year, which may be a bit confusing, because their design is somewhat similar:
    • The primary site at http://crockerschool.org/auction (where you are right now), has event information, these help pages, donation forms, etc.
    • The Auction Catalog Site. This is a separate site where the auction catalog, wish lists, payments pages, etc. are located. This is furnished by Auction Maestro, our auction software vendor.

Information about the credit card payment process

We are using new software this year from MaestroSoft. Their qCheck system replaces our previous system for processing online and night-of-event credit card purchases. Below is their introduction to the qCheck system.

Introducing qCheck from MaestroSoft

  • Ever wondered if there was a faster way to leave after the auction was over?
  • Always wished you could stay longer but wanted to beat the rush at checkout?
  • Always wanted to just check your winning bids and go?
  • Don’t want to deal with the PTA treasurer at the end of the auction night?
  • Concerned about given out your credit card before you even bought anything?

MaestroSoft qCheck: A better way to securely accept payments.

As part of the checkout portion of the evening, you will be given the option to register your credit card to pay for your auction purchases. The PTA and auction committee strongly encourages all Crocker families attending the auction to pay for their auction purchases by credit card, whether or not you choose to register your credit card prior to the auction.

What is in it for me?

  • Shorter checkout lines
  • Eliminate the cashier stop
  • Verify and pick up your purchases
  • No additional paperwork other than your auction invoice
  • Only charge your card if you make purchases

How does it work?

Prior to the auction, and up until 7:30pm on the night of the auction, you will have the opportunity to register your credit card. When we swipe your credit card, all credit card information is securely stored with your bidder number by the software in an encrypted database. No need to sign any $0 receipts, just present and register your credit card.

Even easier – you can also sign up for qCheck online! Enter your credit card information once, buy your tickets to the event, and you are automatically checked in on the night of the event.

At checkout, you will be asked to verify successful bids, sign your auction invoice and pick up your purchases, skipping the cashier line. If you decide not to pre-swipe a card prior to or at registration, you will need to wait in the cashier line to settle your auction purchases.

With qCheck we will be able to accept Visa, Mastercard, Diner’s Club, Discover and American Express and there’s no difference in the fees we are charged for each card. We will also be able to accept split payments on more than one credit card – when you register your card just tell us up to how much we can charge on the first credit card, and the remainder of your auction purchases above that limit will be charged to the second credit card you present and register.
